COMMITEE MEMBERS REQUIRED

Two vacancies have arisen on the commitee and anyone interested in taking up the positions should contact the secretary in the first instance.

1. Equipments Officer - Responsible for purchasing and maintaining the club's equipment.

2.  Tournament Officer - Responsible for organising the club's non-longbow tournaments.

CHRISTMAS SHUTDOWN

The last nights of shooting will be as follows:

SHU 12th December, Thrybergh 16th December and Aston 18th December.

Shooting will recommence as follows:

SHU 9th January, Thrybergh 6th January and Aston 8th January.
     

CHRISTMAS MEAL 

The Christmas meal will be at the Sitwell Arms on Saturday 13th December. The cost will be around £13.00 per head. Can anyone interested in going please either see Mel on a shooting night or e-mail Dorothy by clicking here. The Christmas meal has proved to be very popular in the past and is usually a fun night out.

MEMBERSHIP FEES 2008 / 09

Please note that membership fees are due at the beginning of August for the period September 2008 until September 2009. This years fees will be £68.00 for Adult members and £25.00 for Junior members. A breakdown of these fees is available from the noticeboard in the container.

LOST ARROWS REMINDER

Please remember when shooting outdoors that if you fail to recover an arrow this MUST be reported to the field captain immediately. All attempts will be made to try and recover the arrow but, if not, then it must be recorded. Failure to do this can invalidate the Club's insurance.

SETTING UP / TAKING DOWN

Please remember that it makes life much easier for all if everybody helps to set up and take down during club night shoots. Whilst it is appreciated that not everybody can be there for the start of shooting, or sometimes the end, it would be very welcome if you could try to be there for at least one of them. Thank you.
